Reason I am worried is that mother-in-law has a huge influence on my wife and has habit of getting her way about things?
Tell your wife that she shouldn’t let her mother control everything she does. I mean for god sakes its only swimwear. She’s being so old school about this. If you think it looks fine on your wife then tell her. Don’t give her room to take her mother’s side on this. Otherwise its swimwear at first then making you move to live across from her. Get my point mate? You and your wife are living your own lives and though you can respect your mother in law’s opinions that doesn’t mean you should sit and be quiet and let things happen when you can have a say in the matter.
Seriously tell your wife that your her husband and your opinion should matter more. Trick is coming on top of this sounding like an understanding guy voicing your own opinions while being a methodical son of a bitch about this.
