Did you know that Hindus can get pretty obsessive and violent about their religion too?
You don’t often hear about Hindu’s going bonkers over their religion, but apparently, they do. http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2011/05/10/3212537.htm I’ll summarize it for you; an Australian swimwear designer angered Hindus in India by designing a ladies one piece swimming costume with a picture of a Hindu goddess on it. So Hindus are going bonkers over it and burning the Australian flag. What do you think; typical religious overreaction?
I think that any religion has their fair share of people like that, whether you call them sensitive or extremists. The fact is, most people don’t like to hear, or in this case SEE, something that misrepresents or is very sacrilegious, and in some cases people will retaliate this way.
