NEW SEASON SWIMWEAR FOR A NEW LOOK
The onset of warmer weather may lift our spirits but it can also lower our self-confidence, especially when it comes to buying new swimwear.
Women are obsessed with their bodies, according to a report in the Daily Mail which covered a survey by cosmetics company, Garnier.Three thousand women between 18 and 40 were interviewed with the research showing that 7% thought about their bodies up to 50 times a day with 20% worrying about their shape ten times a day.
Tummies and rear-ends were the parts of the body that women were the least happy with.46% of respondents said they would like more toned, flatter stomachs with twenty per cent desiring an improved behind.Other parts of the body are also a source of unhappiness, with 10% not happy with their breasts, 14% not happy with their legs and 4% wanting to change the way their arms look.
Little wonder then, that most women can’t bear shopping for new swimwear.
